Data Processing Agreement

Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 · Data Controller → Data Processor agreement

This DPA governs the processing of personal data by Metron ISP ("Processor") on behalf of ISPs using the platform ("Controller") in compliance with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019 (KDPA).

Under this agreement, the Controller (the ISP) instructs Metron to process subscriber personal data (names, phone numbers, addresses, payment records) solely for the purpose of delivering the billing and network management services described in the Terms of Service.

Metron agrees to: process data only on documented instructions from the Controller; ensure persons authorised to process data are bound by confidentiality; implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures; not engage sub-processors without prior written authorisation; assist the Controller in fulfilling data subject rights requests; delete or return all personal data upon termination; make available all information necessary to demonstrate compliance.
